The “Bill & Ted’s” film series follows the story of two best friends and well-meaning but somewhat dim-witted teenagers, Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted “Theodore” Logan, who dream of forming a great rock band called “Wyld Stallyns.” However, destiny has much bigger plans for them; they are prophesied to bring about world peace through their music. The series includes three films: Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, where they travel through time to bring historical figures to the present for a school report; Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, in which they face evil robot doppelgangers from the future and even death itself; and Bill & Ted Face the Music, where years later, they must finally write that world-saving song to prevent the collapse of reality. These films, with a comedic and adventurous tone, emphasize the importance of friendship and a positive outlook on life.
